Meet Pippa Rose, a Mister Migs Ambassadorable for the Denim Dogs Fashion Blast!
Wild Irish Pippa Rose (or just “Pippa Rose” for short) is the prettiest little Shetland sheepdog that anyone ever did see and a Mister Migs Ambassadorable you will meet at the Denim Dogs Fashion Blast, November 7.
But she’s more than just a pretty face. Her tiny size belies an agility master; when she competes in agility contests, she inevitably places in the top three, even against such formidable foes as Border Collies and other large-breed agility dogs.
Her agility stardom began one day while at a local dog park. Pippa decided to join the other dogs performing agility feats, and proceeded to perform flawlessly. Her father spoke to agility professionals afterward; they were amazed saying that Pippa’s natural feats usually take years to learn.
Since then, she’s taken titles such as AXP (Agility Excellent Preferred), MJP2 (Master Jumpers Preferred, twice), T2BP (Time 2 Beat Preferred Title, earning 15 first place runs for this title), and OFP (Open Fast Preferred Title). What a list! She also has certifications in Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) and Herding Instinct Certification (HIC), showing that true to her Shetland Sheepdog breed, she knows how to herd sheep too!
“She must have been an agility dog in her past life,” her father said, and likened her to one of those kids who never needs to study to get straight As, while her canine sister Razzles works hard just for her Bs.
Her father, who got her as a puppy at only eight weeks old, describes her as our “Little Diva” who’s friendly with other dogs…on the condition that she’s the Alpha! She’s even a Prima Donna to dogs that aren’t real; if she sees a dog on TV, she barks at it. She’s not all Alpha though; a classic lap dog, she loves cuddles and being held.
You’ll have a chance to meet pretty Pippa Rose yourself at the Mister Migs Denim Dogs Fashion Blast!
